FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. – On Saturday, Dec. 30, a man was arrested Forsyth County after he allegedly stole jewelry and handbags from a home invasion.
Rodrigo Marroquin Aguilar, 35, of New York, was arrested and charged with first-degree burglary for the theft at a home on Overlook Club Circle in unincorporated Suwanee.
According to reports, a suspicious vehicle was parked near the area on Saturday evening.
Officers were dispatched to the area where a home alarm had gone off near where the vehicle was parked.
They found that a window had been opened at the back of the home and inside the home a bedroom had been ransacked.
Multiple items were reported missing.
K9 and drone units with the Johns Creek Police Department helped search for the suspects. During that search, authorities found a ladder, screwdriver and a stolen purse in the woods.
Aguilar was caught and arrested.
