FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. – An unidentified suspected attempted to rob the Regions Bank on
McGinnis Ferry Road in Alpharetta on Saturday, Dec. 30.
The suspect entered the bank around 11:30 a.m. and approached an employee, according to the incident report.
The suspect slid the employee a note that said “Give me all your $20s, $50s, and $100s.”
The employee then slid the note back while responding “no”.
The employee stated that the suspects gestured to his waistband as if he may have a weapon; however, the employee said that they could not see a weapon.
The employee told the suspect that he needed to leave.
The suspect exited the bank and then ran west. The police were called and a K9 team was dispatched but the suspect was not located.
He currently remains at large.
