Home invasion robbery reported

Forsyth County, Ga. – Forsyth County deputies are investigating a home invasion robbery that took place at a residence on Browns Bridge Road Feb. 3 in the early morning hours. Fortunately no injuries were reported.
The victims said a masked individual entered their home, brandished a gun and demanded they open their safe, leading authorities to suspect the homeowners were targeted by a individual who had knowledge of the home and contents inside the safe.
Forsyth County Major Crimes Detectives have identified a possible suspect in the case.
“Violent crimes like this one are rare in Forsyth County and will not be tolerated. Our deputies and detectives work tirelessly to identify and apprehend offenders who commit them. This individual’s days of freedom are numbered no matter where he may run to,” said Sheriff Ron Freeman.
