Forsyth County motorcycle patrol officer suffered minor injuries in Wednesday traffic accident

FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. – Forsyth County Sheriff’s Deputy Dylan Holcomb, 26, was released from Northside Hospital Forsyth Wednesday after he suffered minor injuries in a traffic accident near the intersection of Brannon Road and Ronald Reagan Boulevard.
According to the Georgia State Patrol accident report, Holcomb was following too closely behind a 2008 Mercedes Benz on a Sheriff’s Office-issued Harley Davidson motorcycle and struck the Mercedes in the rear when the driver, 17-year-old Vianne Galban, stopped at a red light.
Holcomb was transported to Northside Hospital Forsyth by Forsyth County EMS.
Georgia State Patrol Corporal Travis Sanders said there were no other injuries and no charges are expected to be filed.
