CUMMING Ga. — It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Cumming and the 3rd Annual City of Cumming Christmas Parade is just around the corner on Saturday, Dec. 5, beginning at 5 p.m. The parade will flow from Forsyth Central High School down Tribble Gap/Castleberry Road, through downtown Cumming, and end at the Cumming Fairgrounds.
The festival following the parade at the Fairgrounds will not be held this year, but a small “tree” lighting will be presented at the Fairgrounds at approximately 6 p.m. to ignite the large tree-shaped Christmas light display on the outside of the arena.
Tribble Gap/Castleberry Road will be closed to traffic beginning at approximately 4:30 p.m. on Dec. 5 and will remain closed until the parade is completed at approximately 6:30 p.m. Participants and spectators of the parade are encouraged to wear masks and socially distance themselves as much as possible.
