FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. — A routine traffic stop for an apparent window tint violation turned into something more serious recently, thanks to Forsyth County K9 Xena.

During the stop, Xena alerted to the odor of narcotics. A search of the vehicle was conducted and nearly 5 pounds of methamphetamine was located in the backseat floorboard. The driver, 53-year-old David Lee Smith of Etowah, TN, was charged with Trafficking Methamphetamine. He is currently being held without bond at the Forsyth County Jail.
