FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. — The Annual Veterans Day Ceremony will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 11, beginning at 11 a.m. The event, which this year is presented by American Legion Cumming Post 307, will be held at the Cumming Veterans War Memorial, next door to the Cumming Police Department.

This free community event will feature patriotic speakers, Forsyth County Sheriff and Fire Department Honor Guard, and music from Forsyth Central High School’s Flash of Crimson Band, local homeschool groups and soloists. Those in attendance are asked to wear masks and practice social distancing as much as possible, and to reserve parking spaces at the Cumming Police Department for the elderly or those with mobility issues. Additional parking is available at the Cumming Fairgrounds and the Castleberry Road parking deck.

Everyone is welcome to come out and help honor our community’s veterans and active duty service men and women.
