County, state officials gather for 2021 Transportation Summit

Forsyth County, Ga. – The Forsyth County Transportation Summit was held on Tuesday, Oct. 19, and featured transportation project updates from local and state officials.
“Forsyth County has grown vastly over the last decade and the County has matched that progression with improvements to our infrastructure that address not only Forsyth’s residents today but Forsyth residents of tomorrow and beyond,” said Forsyth County Manager Kevin Tanner.
The summit, hosted by the Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce, featured a panel discussion that was moderated by Georgia Transportation Alliance Executive Director Seth Millican and the following panelists:
– Cindy Jones Mills, Chairwoman and District 4 Commissioner
– Russell McMurry, Georgia Department (GDOT) Commissioner
– Todd Jones, Georgia House of Representatives, District 25
– Carter Patterson, Former Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce Board Chair
