Comprehensive Plan Workshop set for Tuesday at Central Park

FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. – Forsyth County will hold the third Comprehensive Plan Workshop on Dec. 14 at 6 p.m. in the Central Park Recreation Center, 2300 Keith Bridge Road.
The comprehensive plan reflects the community’s vision for future growth and development. It helps determine where future resources will be placed and it guides the economic development team, planning department and county commissioners in making decisions. It is also necessary for the county to attract grants and loans.
Community involvement is an important element in developing the plan and the public is encouraged to attend this meeting.

More than twenty vendors will be selling household items
FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. — Forsyth County Parks & Recreation invites residents to a community yard sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 17. The outdoor event will take place in the parking area of the Central Park Recreation Center (2300 Keith Bridge Rd.).
“The community yard sale is a great opportunity for residents to do some spring cleaning around their house and do some shopping as well,” Director of Parks & Recreation Jim Pryor said. “We are excited to see all people will have to offer.”
Event organizers expect more than 20 vendors selling a variety of household goods, children’s items, tools and more. Admission for shoppers is free.
