Driver suffers serious injuries following Thursday crash

WHITE COUNTY, Ga. — The unidentified driver of a Toyota Carolla was transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville following a single-vehicle crash on Pless Road last week.

Georgia State Patrol Public Information Officer Konswello Monroe said the investigation shows that a Toyota Corolla was traveling south on Pless Road when it failed to maintain its lane of travel. The vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway, striking a telephone at this time transformer and a tree, and overturned.

Monroe said the driver suffered serious injuries.
