FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. – Forsyth County’s 2022 Water Quality Report is now ready for viewing.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) requires community water systems to deliver an annual Consumer Confidence Report (CCR), also known as a Water Quality Report, that provides citizens’ information about their local drinking water quality.

The Forsyth County Water and Sewer Department is proud to supply clean, safe, and reliable drinking water for all of its customers. In 2020 (the year the 2021 Water Quality Report covers), the drinking water supplied to you met all EPA and state drinking water health standards. The Water Quality Report details where your water comes from, what it contains, and how it compares to the standards set by the regulatory agencies.

The report also includes the water quality report for the years 2018, 2019 and 2020.

The report provides information from 2021 on where the County’s water comes from, what it contains

and how it compares to standards required by the Federal Safe Drinking Water Act. Forsyth County’s water met all U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and state drinking water health standards in 2021.

Printed copies may be picked up in the Department of Water & Sewer office in the County Administration Building (110 E. Main Street, Suite 150). Reports can also be mailed upon request by calling (770) 781-2160.
