Precinct cards will be mailed to county voters after recent changes to polling places

FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. -– Forsyth County Voter Registrations & Elections will be mailing precinct
cards to all of the county’s approximately 172,000 registered voters following recent changes to district
lines, precincts and polling places.

“We are sending precinct cards out to every registered county voter (registered as of March 25, 2022)
because all Forsyth County voters are impacted by changes to district lines and many voters are
impacted by recently-approved precinct and polling place changes,” said Director of Voter Registrations
& Elections Mandi Smith. “The precinct card serves as a voter’s official notification about all of the
changes that affect them.”

The changes to where a voter will cast their ballot will be in effect for the May 24 General Primary and
Nonpartisan General Election.

The card, which looks like a postcard, contains information about a voter’s assigned Election Day polling
place once opened. Voters are encouraged to open their precinct card upon receipt, review their
information and familiarize themselves with precinct, polling place and district changes.

The Change of Address portion of the card only needs to be returned if the voter’s registration
information needs to be updated. Voters do not need to present their precinct card to vote; it is for the
voter’s reference only.

Precinct cards are also mailed out routinely to residents who register to vote and voters who update
