Oakwood man charged with armed robbery, kidnapping, home invasion

FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. — Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office announced that Christopher Acker, 37, of Oakwood, was arrested Monday in connection with the home invasion that occurred on Browns Bridge Road last week. He is being held in the Forsyth County Jail, charged with kidnapping, false imprisonment, robbery with a gun, and home invasion 1st degree forced.

The armed robbery occurred in the early morning hours of Feb. 3. The victims stated a masked individual entered their home and pointed a gun at them demanding they open their safe. After gaining access to the safe, the masked gunmen left the home. No one was injured during the incident. Preliminary investigation.
