FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. – One decision the Board of commissioners will have no difficulty making when they meet in a work session Tuesday at 2 p.m. will be a budget resolution that authorizes the acceptance of a generous $8,000 donation from Dr. John McGruder and The Friends of the Forsyth Animal Shelter.

The offer is to be used for the explicit purpose of renovating cat adoption condos at the shelter. The condos will be outfitted with durable cat furniture, shelving, and décor designed to be easily disinfected which will decrease disease transmission and promote a stress-free environment for the cats while improving the customer experience.
