FORSYTH COUNTY, GA. – Toll Brothers, Inc. will request an amendment of zoning conditions on ZA3249 Green Acres Development, Inc. (parcels 010-098 and 010-139) when the Board of Commissioners holds a regular meeting and public hearings Thursday at 5 pm in the County Administration Building.
The proposed development consists of 95 single-family detached dwellings located on 58.434 acres at Coppice Drive and Howard Road.
In other public hearings, the Board will consider:
- A request for an Alcohol License to sell malt beverages (beer), wine, and distilled spirits by the package on the premises for Golden Liquor LLC dba Blue Glass Liquor and Wine located at 6015 Post Road;
- A County-Initiated request for an Amendment of Zoning Conditions on ZA1184 (East Riverside Partnership) by Forsyth County Board of Commissioners – Parcels 017-199 and 017-200 – AZ210037;
- A request for an Amendment of Zoning Conditions on ZA2533 (Beazer Homes) by Sheila Carmichael – Parcel 104-293 – AZ210038;
- A County-Initiated request to rezone from Single Family Residential District (R1) to Agricultural District (A1) with a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) for a place of worship – Parcel 201-146 – ZA4025;
- Amendments to the Unified Development Code related to Signage for Open Storage Yards within Chapter 3;
- Amendments to Chapter 3 and 10 related to construction hours within the Unified Development Code of Forsyth County;
- Amendments to the Unified Development Code related to Dumpsters within Chapters 3, 10, 11, 16, and 21;
- Amendments to the Unified Development Code related to Exemption for Non-Residential Plat Requirement within Chapter 10;
- Amendments to the Unified Development Code related to M1 Performance Standards within Chapter 14; (11) Public Hearing and possible vote regarding proposed changes to the Forsyth County Record Retention Schedules to update based on most-current schedules;Under Old Business the Board will consider:
- Direction regarding RUS-AL (USA), Inc., CP190014, to operate an open storage yard with 133 parking spaces associated with existing buildings totaling 18,000 sq. ft. with 26 parking spaces on 6.680 acres currently zoned Restricted Industrial District (M1) with multiple variances located on Union Hill Road;
- Direction regarding Sketch Plat approval for RUS-AL (USA), Inc. and Variances to the UDC Section 14-1.3 and Table 14.2 – Parcel 041-099 – SP190002;
- Direction regarding the revocation or modification of conditions of existing CUP CP190025 in accordance with UDC Section 8-5.5(I) – Parcel 080-079;
- Direction regarding the request for an Amendment of Zoning Conditions on ZA3708 (WDW, LLC) by Jeffrey and Dawn Johnson
There will also be one Administrative Hearing regarding an appeal of the suspension of an Alcohol Server Permit for Nuru Zaman for unsanitary conditions at VL Business, Inc dba Alpha Food Mart – District 3 – Business License Manager, Department of Business License
