FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. – The Board of Commissioners will hold a series of public hearings during a called meeting Thursday at 5 p.m. in the County Administration Building, 110 East Main Street in Cumming.
Public hearings to be considered include:
- The county-Initiated variance request to reduce the Georgia Highway 400 undisturbed buffer from 40 ft. to 0 ft;
- A request for an Amendment of Zoning Conditions on ZA3079 (Ackerman & Company) by Rockhaven Homes, LLC ;
- Approval of an Alternate Design for Jones Bridge Road Associates, LLC;
- A request for an amendment of Zoning Conditions on ZA2147 (Atlantic Gulf Communities Corporation) by Barbara Roeber and variances to UDC Table 11.2(a);
- A request for an Amendment of Zoning Conditions on ZA2653 (Westbrook Windermere, LLC) by Robert and Jennifer Guano and a variance to UDC Table 11.2(a);
- Amendments to Chapter 5 related to Corrective Zoning Action within the Unified Development Code of Forsyth County;
- Amendments to Chapters 3 and 18 related to Undisturbed Areas of Separation within the Unified Development Code of Forsyth County;
- Amendments to Chapter 11 related to Exterior Buffer Requirements within the Unified Development Code of Forsyth County;
- Amendments to Chapter 8 related to Administrative Variances within the Unified Development Code of Forsyth County;
- Amendments to Chapters 3 and 18 related to Open Space and Low-Impact Stormwater Design Incentives within the Unified Development Code of Forsyth County;
- Amendments to Chapter 11 related to Design Applicability within the Unified Development Code of Forsyth County;
- The County-Initiated request to rezone from Single Family Residential District (RES3) to Agricultural District (A1) – Parcels 074-005, 074-452 and 074-453 – ZA4021.
