Stabbing suspect is identified

FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. — Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a stabbing incident in the Collections at Forsyth last week.

Traffic congestion inside the Collections at Forsyth spurred a road rage incident.  It started as a verbal altercation then escalated when the suspect 19-year-old Christopher Hamill of Alpharetta, stabbed the victim multiple times.

The victim, who has not been identified, was transport North Futon Hospital where he is reportedly in critical condition.

Hamill is has been charged with Aggravated Assault and Aggravated Battery. He is being held at the Forsyth County Jail on no bond.
