Board of Commissioners will meet Thursday

FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. – The Board of Commissioners will hold a regular meeting, including five public hearings Thursday at 5 p.m. in the County Administration Building, 110 East Main Street. The meeting will be via an in-person assembly but is also available by remote streaming at www.forsythco.com
Commissioners will hold public hearings and possible vote regarding:
- A request for an Alcohol License to sell malt beverage (beer), wine, and distilled spirits wholesale on the premises for Forte International Spirits, Inc. located at 1060 Union Center Drive, Suite A & B;
- The request for an Alcohol License for a manufacturer distillery on the premises for CFS Holdings, LLC dba Freedom Brew and Shine located at 2730 Spot Road;
- The request for an Alcohol License for a manufacturer brewery on the premises for CFS Holdings, LLC dba Freedom Brew and Shine located at 2730 Spot Road;
- The request for an Amendment of Zoning Conditions on CP200018 (Forsyth County Board of Commissioners) by Forsyth County Board of Commissioners – Parcel 288-019 – 6370 Wagner Way, Dawsonville;
- Proposed changes to the Alcohol Code regarding Alcohol Server Permits;
Under Old Business, the Board will consider:
- The County-Initiated variance request to eliminate the 5,000 ft. sewer distance requirement to facilitate the use of an on-site septic disposal system;
- Southern Yankee Capital, LLC request to rezone from Agricultural District (A1) to Single Family Residential District (RES2) 4.237 acres for six residential lots with a density of 1.42 units per acres located west of Majors Road, southeast of the intersBection with Kent Place;
- Sketch Plat approval for Ronald Reagan Corners LLC – Parcel 132-029.
Under New Business, commissioners will consider a request by MDB Trustee, LLC (Beaver Toyota) for an ad valorem property tax refund.
