Students asked to participate in fire safety video contest

News, Press Release

FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. – The Forsyth County Fire Department invites all Forsyth County students to share their artistic talents while promoting a commitment to fire safety by recording a video related to fire safety.

Submissions will be accepted through Oct. 16, and the winner of the contest will be announced Oct. 19. The winner of the video contest will receive four tickets to a local corn maze and pumpkin patch. The winning video will be featured on the County’s television station TV Forsyth (Comcast channel 23, AT&T channel 99), the County’s social media channels and website.

Videos are to be 60 seconds or less and can pertain to any fire safety message.

“We are always excited to have our local students help us educate others about the importance of fire safety,” said Fire Department Chief Barry Head. “By asking students to make a video, students have a chance to put their creativity on display.”

Participants can submit their video by emailing the video file, URL or social media link containing the video to [email protected]
