FORYTH COUNTY, Ga. –Two custodians at South Forsyth County High School were arrested on drug possession charges last week. Both are currently housed in the Forsyth County Jail.
On Wednesday (Sept. 3) the Georgia State Patrol executed a traffic stop on Ga. 400 and during a search of the vehicle, agents recovered three pre-packaged bags of methamphetamine.
The driver, Katrina Herrick, 29 of Cumming, a custodian at South Forsyth High School was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.
The subsequent investigation led to the arrest of a second custodian at SFHS, Brent Charley, who is charged with possession of methamphetamine.
No bond has been set for either. Herrick and Charley are no longer employed by the Forsyth County Board of Education.
