Forsyth County 4th of July celebration starts Saturday with fun day at Cumming Fairgrounds

FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. — Forsyth County residents will begin their Independence Day celebration on Saturday July 3 when the Cumming Fairgrounds will host a fun-filled day from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. The celebration includes music, alcohol, food games, vendors and various contests throughout the day and one of north Georgia’s finest fireworks displays starting at 9:30 p.m.
Admission to the fairgrounds is free and there is no parking fee on this day.
On Independence Day, thousands of people will line the streets between Forsyth Central High School and the Cumming Fairgrounds to enjoy the 64th Annual Thomas – Mashburn steam engine parade, featuring colorful steam engines and a wide variety of floats, local businesses, sports teams, dance academies, antique cars, tractors and much more!
